Kid Capri has criticized Travis Scott for reportedly treating a fan disrespectfully when they asked to take a photo with him.
On Wednesday, August 7, a video of the Houston rapper being accosted by a little fan in France went viral. The child said, “Travis, can I get a picture?” while holding up his phone.
Scott moved the youngster’s arm away from his body and said, “Don’t touch me,” as if irritated by the fan’s request and the fact that the boy was partially obstructing his entrance through a gate.
The fan said, “I’m so sorry,” and then stepped aside while keeping his phone in tact.
The boy’s camera received a thumbs up from Travis, who then turned to go.
Legendary DJ Kid Capri, who released the hit song “Sicko Mode” via an online video, took issue with the move.
He said, “Ayo, Travis Scott, when did we start treating kids disrespectfully, bruh?” “When the little child wanted to sign your autograph, you shooed his hand away, gave him the devil-may-care expression, and turned to leave. You would have once preferred it if someone had requested for your autograph, a picture, or anything else they wanted.
After that, Capri urged the Cactus Jack actor to be more humble with his followers, bringing up the tragic crowd crush at his 2021 Astroworld Festival that claimed the lives of ten people.
He went on, “Celebs get where they get and then they forget.” “Dawg, at one of your concerts, like, ten people died.” I would do my best to maintain my humility. I would try to be as modest as possible when it comes to the fans, bruh. I’m not saying it’s your fault. They give you encouragement.
This isn’t the first time I’ve witnessed you act in a humorous manner. It’s a small child, bruh, and I find it annoying to see that since I’m used to signing autographs, snapping photos, and making video drops for people. If only folks had asked us for that when we weren’t online.
“I’m not at your level, but I respect the fans and I’m at Kid Capri level,” he continued. That was absurd right there. Little ones view you as a superhero, bro. I’m not suggesting you have to sign everyone’s petition or follow everyone’s instructions. That was some very, really corny stuff.
Scott has not yet answered Capri’s remarks.
La Flame has already gone above and above for supporters, in spite of the tongue-lashing.
He gave out a pair of his unreleased Nike x Cactus Jack sneakers to a concertgoer earlier this year after they sang his song “Lost Forever” on stage without missing a beat.
But Travis asked the fan to do one thing: “Don’t sell my shoes, man.” Don’t sell them; they’re my favorite pair of sneakers. You understand what I mean? Chicago, I adore you all.”
