After several days of conjecture, Lil Yachty announced on Monday night, July 29, that KARRAHBOOO is no longer a member of Concrete Boys.
The “Hate Me” rapper shared a brief statement on their choice to split up on Instagram Live, but he chose not to further. “How should I phrase this? “I’m going to say this one time: We have parted ways with KARRAH concerning this Concrete stuff,” he stated.
Nothing negative to say, I think. I have nothing bad to say about KARRAH. “I hope she succeeds in her career,” Lil Yachty continued. That’s essentially it. I have nothing positive to say or anything negative to say.
When KARRAHBOOO’s name abruptly disappeared from the Concrete Boys’ Instagram bio and she was no longer identified as a member, fans began to speculate that she had left the group. When it was discovered that she had unfollowed Lil Yachty and the other members of the group on social media, leaving only Dc2trill, Camo!, and Draft Day, things became more apparent.
The “RIP FOLLIES” singer was also absent from Concrete Boys’ performance over the weekend of the 2024 Broccoli City Festival.
Months after It’s Us Vol. 1 was released on streaming providers, the regrettable news was received. Among the songs that KARRAHBOOO contributed her vocals to were “NOT DA 2,” “HIT DIFF,” “JEFF & LITA,” and “WHERE YO DADDY?”
“These people are my pals. Thus, it wasn’t as though I was searching far and wide for skill. Before the album’s release, Lil Yachty spoke with UPROXX about the group, saying, “These were friends that I’ve made along the way.” “My friendships are the most important thing to me; the aim is to get everyone to a level of success so they can support their families. In addition, I’ve always thought groups and crews were fantastic.
KARRAHBOOO achieved popularity in her solo career with the 2023 singles “Running Late” and “SPLASH BROTHERS” featuring Anycia. Later in the year, her first project was supposed to be released.
