Juvenile has added to the buzz around Chance The Rapper’s next album Star Line after attending a private listening session.

While the Chicago rapper has announced public listening events named Writings on the Wall throughout the United States, Juvie had his own personal peek of the highly anticipated CD in his hometown of New Orleans.

The Cash Money icon praised both the music and the audio-visual experience of the listening event, calling both “amazing.”

In an Instagram video, Chance said, “This shit is one of the greatest experiences.” First and foremost, the music is very moving, isn’t it? But this technology is amazing. You can feel the feces in your body.

“Then you see the text and put on your headphones to listen to the music. It’s like a sing-along tune, right? When you get to the following hook, you should recognize the words. This crap is incredible.”

In another video, Juvenile is seen wearing glow-in-the-dark headphones and praising “Wow… Chance, this is fucking amazing” to Star Line.

Chano wrote in the caption, “I had to give my guy @juviethegreat a little private listening between the NOLA #writingsonthewall sessions.

“I’d want to thank the fine folks over at @studio_be_, particularly @bmike2c, for partnering in such a significant way and bringing Juvie and @pjmorton through. Can’t wait for the next one, y’all.”

Chance The rapper has been teasing Star Line for a while, releasing a video earlier this year that hinted to appearances by Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, Jermaine Dupri, T-Pain, Jazze Pha, and Vic Mensa.

He also collaborated with the famous DJ Premier on the current tune “Together,” in which he advocated for housing justice in his hometown Chicago.

While a release date has yet to be confirmed, Chance recently stated that he was almost finished recording the album.

In an interview with Complex, the Grammy-winner stated, “I’ma say [it’s] 83 [percent finished].” 83.5, 82.7, you get what I mean? We are currently residing in the project.

“The trouble is, no one has the attention span for what the discourse should be. So I’m stitching it together, living in it alongside my fans and the new artists I meet.

He continued, “I’m really enjoying this process period. Because sometimes the procedure is quite stressful and frantic. For my latest endeavor, I had just married, had a baby, and was set to leave my management. Like, I had so much going on.

“And now, it’s not like ain’t shit going on — it’s a lot going on — but I’m really able to revel in the creative process and put everything into that and be 100 percent myself and present in the now.”

Star Line will be Chance’s follow-up to his debut studio album, The Big Day, which was released in 2019 to mainly unfavorable reviews.
