Peter Jideonwo and Lil Bibby stated that the “real problem” was producers, studios, and individuals who lacked ethics.
The Party Never Ends, Juice WRLD’s final posthumous album, with a release date of November 29. The project will be released on streaming services with the lead track “AGATS2 (Insecure)” featuring Nicki Minaj, as well as “Misfits” and the Offset-assisted “Celebrate.”
Ahead of the album, the Chicago artist’s managers, Peter “Pete” Jideonwo and Lil Bibby, spoke with Variety about the challenging journey to get there, especially given all of the leaks. Legends Never Die and Fighting Demons faced similar difficulties, but many of the unlicensed releases made the cut.
Jideonwo told the publication, “The stock of his music became exceedingly high,” estimating that more than 800 tracks were released online without the consent of Grade A Productions. However, Lil Bibby contended that the figure exceeded 1,000.
They said that the integrity of the producers, studios, friends, and others who had access to [the music] was the true issue. “It became extremely repulsive.”
It is anticipated that the official tracklist will be released later, probably avoiding the problems Juice WRLD’s staff experienced with other albums. On November 15, “AGATS2 (Insecure),” which stands for “All Girls Are the Same 2,” was released.
“We are honored and grateful for the collaboration,” Minaj stated. This is a flawless tune. I can’t wait to tell you all about this. Live long, Juice WRLD. “You will always be unmatched in your talent, aura, legacy, technique, sound, and ability to match your rare, rich, raw, and dynamic voice with melodies and cadences on the ideal beat,” she continued. You have my undying love. We really do miss you.
Fans will have the opportunity to participate in the fourth and final Juice WRLD Day on Nov. 30, the day after The Party Never Ends debuts. The event, which will be held at Chicago’s United Center, is also expected to feature special guests.
