Juice WRLD’s last album released after his death, The Party Never Ends, became available on streaming platforms on Friday (Nov. 29) at midnight.
The 18-song project was released in 2023, including tracks like “Lace It” with Eminem and benny blanco, as well as “Party By Myself,” “Floor It,” and “AGATS2 (Insecure)” featuring Nicki Minaj. More artists like Offset, Fall Out Boy and The Kid LAROI made guest appearances, with production by Boi-1da, Metro Boomin, Cashmere Cat and Nick Mira, among others.
In conjunction with the album drop, Juice WRLD’s heirs released two music videos: “The Party Never Ends” and “Misfit,” featuring old footage of the rapper from Chicago captured by Steve Cannon. Please listen to the record below.
Carmela Wallace, Juice WRLD’s mother, also wrote a touching message to his supporters, expressing her excitement for them finally receiving the music they’ve been eagerly anticipating. In a press release, she recalled, “When Jarad was a young child, he became fascinated with globes and that interest stayed with him for a long time. He was captivated by rotating them. Looking back, I understand that was a prediction of what was to happen.
Wallace went on to say, “He transformed into the musician known as Juice WRLD and impacted people all over the world with his music.” His words were sincere and reflected his struggles with mental health issues and addiction. Jarad’s openness made others feel as though they had someone by their side. I see him as a trailblazer in making discussions about mental health more common. The message ended with her expressing her wish for his music to keep benefiting people globally and hoping that no one endures pain silently.
The release of The Party Never Ends comes before Juice WRLD’s first appearance in Fortnite, which is scheduled for Saturday (Nov. 30). The singer of “Lucid Dreams” will be a playable character, and a new track will be revealed during the battle royal game launch.
