Boldly asserting that he assisted Pusha T and Kendrick Lamar in defeating Drake is Joe Budden.
On Sunday, June 23, Budden talked about his previous feud with Drizzy on X Spaces. He claimed he thought that feud set the stage for Pusha and Kendrick to win their individual feuds with the Six God.
He remarked of the enduring hitmaker, who just became the first artist to reach 100 billion Spotify plays, “I don’t think any one man takes down Drake.” “I believe I handed Pusha the reins. I believe Push gave Kendrick the reins. And now the task is finished.

Having traded verses on tracks like “4 PM in Calabasas,” “Making a Murderer Pt. 1,” “Afraid,” and “8 AM in Charlotte,” Drake and Joe Budden have a long history together.
When Drizzy sent the former Slaughterhouse rapper angry letters last year after he slammed his album For All the Dogs, the long-simmering conflict broke out again.
The native of Toronto is said to have texted Budden, who reads out the direct messages on his name-brand show, “Take a chill pill, Anthony.” “Suck in a drink. Play some instrumental music. For nostalgia’s sake, compose one of those lines that goes, “Guys, do your thing, let me do mine.” You would benefit from listening to a short radio play, papa.
Budden chimed in, saying, “It sounds like he thinks that this is, like, Views beef time.” I want to say it again: I’m in the best mood I’ve ever been. I’m not in a beef! Though cool, I don’t even understand the message.
Then he disclosed that he wrote, “I’m not sure why you went crazy like that,” in response to Drake’s direct messages. The album is appealing to me. It’s not 2016. I have no issues. But get off your ass. In actuality, no one is more delighted for you than I am.
Despite being nearly forty years old, Budden had previously claimed that Drake was sleeping with 25-year-olds and that For All the Dogs was directed towards “kids.”
Along with celebrating Kendrick Lamar’s release of “Not Like Us,” the media personality said that Drake had lost to the Compton rapper and performed a victory dance on his podcast.
Budden recently asserted that his legacy is intact despite his constant criticism of Drizzy, citing several albums by the 6 God’s that he likes.
