Store Officer

Sevan Construction Nigeria Limited was established in 1981 with Registration No. RC 37125 as a limited liability company specialized in all kinds of “PEB”: Pre-Engineered Buildings. Located in Lagos, Nigeria. Working from certified designs in the manufacturing and erection of steel structures, we can construct a wide variety of buildings, such as warehouses, airport hangars, factories, churches, and commercial and residential spaces with structural steel fabrication design & erection for civil construction and in the oil & gas industries, development and manufacturing of various semi-trailers and rigid truck bodies, which enabled the company to deliver complete projects of steel structures coupled with civil engineering. Our factory is run by a team of specialized professional staff and can churn out 250 tons of steel products a month. A qualified technical and professional team is available to assist when queries arise in the factory or for follow-up on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prepares internal requisitions for material replenishment and follows up with procurement.
• Check for compliance and adherence to store procedures and the quality management system to ensure that only quality materials are received.
• Ensure effective documentation of all store materials.
• Ensure timely dispatch and issuance of materials.
• Proper preservation and monitoring of degradable materials on projects in accordance with SCNL (Sevan Construction Nigeria Limited).
• To ensure that stock levels are maintained to avoid stockout and production delays.
• To ensure timely generation of weekly and monthly reports.
• To ensure the close supervision and coordination of stores personnel to achieve set goals.
• Responsible for initiating requests, receiving, opening, storing, and replenishing the supplies and merchandise of ofthe store.
• Keeping and maintaining inventory records of the goods.
• Checking all the supplies and reporting damage and loss and replenishing the shortage with the same.
• Coordinating with the factory manager and supervisors/teams in materials/tools allocation and management of the same.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and abilities
• Ability to effectively organize and network in accord store staff and production teams.
• Self-motivated and independent worker.
• Should be an efficient time manager and have the ability to meet deadlines and targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or an associate degree in retailing, merchandising, supply chain management/business administration, or any related scholastic discipline from an accredited institution.

Note: Proximity to Ilupeju, Anthony, and Oshodi in Lagos State will be an added advantage.
