About the Program
The Songhai/Mastercard Youth Agricultural Empowerment Scheme is designed to train over 3,000 young Nigerians—including 70% women—over the next three years. Participants will be equipped with technical and entrepreneurial skills to excel as modern farm managers, agricultural technicians, and agro-entrepreneurs.
Requirements
- Age: Between 18-35 years old.
- Interest in Agriculture: Must have either started an agricultural venture or be passionate about starting one.
- Location: Must be willing to relocate to Oyo, Ebonyi, or Owerri for the duration of the training.
- Support Structure: Must have a support system in place to implement the acquired knowledge successfully.
