Tony Buzbee, the attorney for the unnamed rape accuser of the rap mogul, has filed a lawsuit against JAY-Z’s Roc Nation, claiming bribery.

In a recent development in the intense legal conflict, an attorney from Texas has initiated a lawsuit against Roc Nation and Hov’s legal representatives, claiming they have encouraged clients to file cases against him.

As reported by Deadline, the lawsuit alleges that Roc Nation and others “colluded to hinder justice by employing clandestine operatives to unlawfully target over twenty current and former clients of The Buzbee Law Firm to persuade those clients to file baseless lawsuits against The Buzbee Law Firm.”

Buzbee additionally asserts that his clients were contacted by individuals who “act as if they work for the State of Texas” and who have “displayed phony badges.”

The attorney additionally claims that he possesses audio evidence of clients being promised over $10,000 to act against him, and that these events began occurring after he sent a demand letter to JAY-Z’s attorneys in November.

Roc Nation refuted the claims, stating in a statement: “Tony Buzbee’s ridiculous lawsuit against Roc Nation is merely another farce. It’s a pitiful effort to divert and shift focus. This distraction won’t alter the final result, and genuine justice will be delivered shortly.

He additionally posted an image of what seems to be supposed “investigators,” along with an alleged transcript of a recorded discussion between the group of men and one of his clients.

“‘Investigators’ from New York have reached out to several of our law firm’s past and present clients,” he wrote. “These researchers lack intelligence.” What they didn’t expect was that one of the clients chose to record the discussion.

“It’s astonishing, and against the law.” Here is a section extracted directly from the contact transcript.
