Lil Wayne has assembled a rapper-heavy fantasy football team, with JAY-Z as Tom Brady—that is, the highly esteemed former quarterback of the ideal team.
Earlier this month, the rapper and sports enthusiast gave a team overview on Pittsburgh Steelers player Cam Heyward’s Not Just Football podcast.
“I obviously have to be the coach,” he started. To be a quarterback, you need someone who can think clearly, manage the team, and boost everyone’s self-esteem. Therefore, you require an artist with a variety of skills in order to collaborate with everyone. My god, the Six God, has to be my choice for the quarterback. bubbly Papa. Drizzy will start at quarterback for us.Because Jay wouldn’t be in this because he would be Tom Brady. Tom Brady is JAY-Z; he recently retired. He will be alright; he is going to make $300 million in his new job.
“I desire a strong running back. I enjoy strong running backs. We’ll need a running back who is comparable to Beanie Sigel. “Please don’t give him the ball,” you say as you spot Beanie Sigel back there.
He went on, “We need somebody who has to be flamboyant at wide receiver.” They must be swaggering. We are heading toward the future. Future may have been a quarterback in addition to his height. You are aware that the wide receiver occasionally fills in as the quarterback. We’re going with 2 Chainz against him.
Watch the entire crew of Weezy in the video below, which starts at around 3:45.
In the same show, Weezy enumerated his ideal musical partners, including a number of tragically deceased musicians.
He said, “Michael Jackson,” at the top. Prince would be 1A, not even the second. That would be the second. You are already aware that the other two must be Biggie and ‘Pac, without a doubt, if we are going to perform rap.
He then turned his attention to collaborations that are still feasible, saying, “And now, there’s someone who’s alive and walking this planet with us: Lauryn Hill.”
Wayne recently made it clear whose side of the spat between Drake and Kendrick Lamar he supports.
The Young Money CEO appeared to be rapping the refrain from Kendrick Lamar’s smash hit song “Not Like Us” while holding out his OVO chain to the audience during his 2011 Drake duet “The Motto” performance in Las Vegas earlier this month.
Fans’ responses to the gesture were divided, with some unsure of Wayne’s intentions. Some read it as a co-sign for his “Mona Lisa” partner K. Dot, while others thought he was supporting his former understudy Drizzy.
But after watching the video more closely, Weezy could be heard twisting Kendrick’s chorus to mean, “They don’t like us.”
