While she hasn’t formally revealed her Top Dawg Entertainment debut album, Doechii has been teasing fans with a ton of freestyles from her “Swamp Session” album. On Saturday, July 27, the rapper’s latest single, “NISSAN ALTIMA,” was released. Throughout, the rapper’s labelmates made brief appearances.
She spit out over the Childish Major-produced song, “Cunnilingus, Dalai Lama/ Doechii cooler than a fan, but she get hotter than a sauna/ Take a trip out of Japan, and I tsunami her vagina/ Wine and dine her, Benihana/ I’m the new Hip Hop Madonna.” The resident of Florida continued by teasing Grace Jones and Carrie Bradshaw from “Sex and the City.”
“Suck it up, stand up, say that st with your chest/ You bches barking over bones, I got digits to fetch/ I can’t do pictures, I’m too busy, I don’t deal with the press/ You the type to leave a broke n**ga impressed,” Doechii rapped in another section of the song.
Doechii was shown driving about with Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, and Isaiah Rashad in a Nissan Altima, which was a clear reference to the track’s title, during the roughly two-minute clip. View the images below, which were directed by James Mackel.
“NISSAN ALTIMA” was the next release from the “Swamp Session,” which also included “CATFISH” and “BULLFROG,” which were both released earlier in July. Before the songs listed above, Doechii collaborated with JT on March’s “Alter Ego,” which she referred to as “editorial rap.” Both of the visual companions have received over 3.5 million views on YouTube together to far.
“I was like, ‘What the f**k?’ when you sent me the record, girl. I can write a song like this, she [thinks]. JT spoke on her first impression of the song. However, I appreciate your challenge. When I write music, I hesitate a lot. I strive for perfection. When I give that something back, I want it to sound excellent.
