Thanks to a humorous remark from his attorney Brian Steel, Young Thug experienced a rare moment of humor during his continuing YSL RICO trial.
Steel was seen on the trial’s livestream, metaphorically stating, “This is all to me like I have a bag over my head and I’m getting smashed with a baseball bat and I don’t know where to hit.” in reference to his inability to view the prosecution’s evidence. I have nothing at all. Reports are requested by me.
About halfway through his lawyer’s defense, Thugger started laughing so hard he had to cover his face with his hands to keep from laughing too much.

Even after initial judge Ural Glanville resigned from the case and was replaced by Paige Reese Whitaker, the turmoil surrounding Young Thug’s trial has not ended.
When important witness Kenneth “Lil Woody” Copeland revealed on the stand earlier this month that he had lied to avoid going to jail, things took a drastic turn.
“I have lied, as I informed you before you called me to trial,” he said in court. “I concocted the details. I am telling you this now, as I did before you all brought me into this courtroom. You inquired about 2015. I had everything under control. You are attempting to place this on my conscience and intrude into people’s lives.
“I don’t want to be here,” he said further. I’m tired of you because you know you’re wrong and because you’re Black people doing this to us. You’ve put pressure on me.
Previously, Copeland was at the center of the dispute that led to Glanville’s removal from the trial after the judge met in private with the prosecution and witness without informing the defense.
Copeland was granted immunity from prosecution, but he has persisted in posing a challenge to the state by consistently responding to inquiries with the phrase “I don’t recall.”
While Copeland was testifying, he had previously dismissed his own attorney.
“She fired,” Woody uttered when the judge asked him how he wanted to continue following a weekend in jail for his refusal to testify in accordance with his immunity deal. “She is not what I want.”
