Those who have been making comments on Ice Spice’s purported weight loss have received a backlash.
The rapper from the Bronx has been slenderizing in recent weeks, which has sparked speculation that she has been taking the medication Ozempic to help her lose weight.
On Monday, August 19, Spice addressed the rumors circulated about her body in a speech on X Spaces.
“I actually came on here just to quickly discuss that. She said, “I wish y’all had never learned the word Ozempic.” That is one wish I have. God, oh God! What the heck is Ozempic, anyway? That is what the fuck is? Tell the truth, what is that?
Have you inconsiderate jerks never heard of a gym? It’s referred to as going to the gym, eating well, and touring. As in, what the hell? Perhaps it would be simpler for me to stay huge if I spent the entire damn day at home.
When people began remarking on Ice Spice’s apparent weight loss, Sexyy Red previously defended her.
“Y’all act like people can’t be stressed or not eat as much and she still look good so next,” Sexyy said in response to claims that Spice was taking medicine to lose weight.
Fans have not let the rumors about her appearance stop them from enjoying Ice Spice’s social media attention-getters.
Spice has been working out at the gym lately, as evidenced by the plethora of images she recently posted on Instagram, one of which features a drenched outline of her posterior on a workout machine.
On a different slide, the “Munch” actress showed off her well-known posterior in a skimpy thong bikini, all to the tune of her freshly released song “Did It First,” a duet with Central Cee.
The post was made in the midst of speculation that the two young rappers were romantically involved after they were seen shopping together in London.
Early in July, video of Spice and Cench exiting a posh designer boutique in the English city with bodyguards appeared. The hitmakers of “Deli” and “Doja” were also spotted laughing and chatting while browsing for jewelry and traveling in a white Lamborghini SUV.
Since then, Ice Spice has clarified that she and Central Cee are just pals, or as she put it, “twins,” and has denied that they are romantically involved.
Spice had already declared last year that she was “dating someone,” but she would not specify who she was seeing, preferring her followers “to keep their focus on what I’m here for, which is music.”
