After weeks of alleged enmity between music artist Wizkid and music producer Don Jazzy, the feud appears to have been resolved thanks to the efforts of fast-rising Mavin Records singer Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, who brought her boss, Don Jazzy, and the award-winning singer together.
Wizkid looked to have drawn Don Jazzy into a media fight a few weeks ago when he threw caution to the wind and lashed out famous celebs including Davido, Peruzzi, Ladipoe, and Don Jazzy in a slew of tweets.
Ladipoe had mocked Wizkid’s controversial claim that hip-hop is dead, causing a fan to draw Wizkid’s attention to the shade.
In response, Wizkid slammed Don Jazzy, implying that he was not interested in speaking with someone tied to an influencer, referring to Don Jazzy. This prompted Don Jazzy to unfollow Wizkid on social media.
Don Jazzy had remained silent, but Davido and Peruzzi served Wizkid back in his currency, challenging him to come out and repeat the expletives he was spewing on social media platforms in the privacy of his bed.
The apparent feud between Don Jazzy and Wizkid appeared to be over on Friday, when Wizkid reposted Don Jazzy’s artist, Ayra Star’s new album.
Ayra Starr has released her new album, “The Year I Turned 21,” which has gotten good reviews.
Wizkid joined the millions of Nigerians who reacted to the album on the X app, praising the singer’s efforts and referring to her as a “superstar.”
Don Jazzy responded to Wizkid’s tweet with, “Thanks, Big Wiz.”
It is safe to conclude that Ayra Starr’s new record resulted in a positive connection between Wizkid and Don Jazzy, despite earlier conflicts.
