Halle Bailey & DDG

Halle Bailey has made it clear that she is not happy with ex-boyfriend DDG for taking their son Halo on Kai Cenat’s livestream.

The Michigan rapper appeared on Cenat’s Twitch channel, which has over 13 million followers, alongside his toddler son on Wednesday (November 6) as part of the streamer’s 30-day “Mafiathon 2” event.

After being made aware of the stream, Bailey took to X (formerly Twitter) to publicly denounce the move, writing: “[H]i everyone. just so you know i am out of town and i don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight.

“[I] wasn’t told or notified and i am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. i am his mother and protector and saddened that i wasn’t notified especially when i am out of town.”

In a follow-up post, she added: “[A]s a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that i wish to be respected. nobody knows what someone is going through until they snap.”

In an awkward moment during the livestream, Cenat appeared to show DDG Bailey’s initial post but the rapper and YouTuber gave no reaction.

Bailey has since deleted her social media accounts after facing backlash online, with some users accusing her of being a hypocrite given she has shared numerous photos of her son online.

The former couple announced their breakup last month after two years together.

DDG broke the news on his Instagram Stories, writing: “Dear friends and supporters, After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways.”

He continued: “This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we shared.”

The 27-year-old maintained that he and Halle would stay close: “Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other.

“As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared.”

He concluded: “As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support. Thank you for your love and encouragement.”

Since the breakup, DDG has seemingly expressed regret at the relationship, admitting to fans that he would tell his younger self not to have a serious partner.
