Governor Bala Mohammed fired Ahmed Chiroma, his main security adviser, on Tuesday.
The governor’s media assistant, Mukthar Gidado, revealed this to Bauchi journalists.
“A letter bearing the signature of Mr. Ibrahim Kashim, Secretary to the Bauchi State Government, informed him of his termination of employment.
“He was instructed to turn over the management of his office to the governor’s chief security officer,” Mr. Gidado stated.
