Gloss Up’s sister states, “We’ll become close again when she returns from being broke,” in a recent video.
On Saturday (Jan. 4), Gloss Up was taken into custody following a confrontation with her previous manager Tatiyana Blood, referred to as Tati. Currently, her sister posted a video on social media celebrating her imprisonment, stating, “We’ll reconnect once she returns financially strained.” Supporters are astonished that her relatives would find joy in witnessing her facing a challenging situation.
The previous manager mentioned that Gloss attacked her unexpectedly from behind, leaving her with bruises all over her body, including her hip, on which she had surgery before. She further asserts that the motive behind Gloss wanting to confront her was due to her departure from her previous record label, Quality Control, recognized for signing artists like Lil Baby, The Migos, Lil Yachty, City Girls, and others. The previous manager claimed that she was let go because “her music wasn’t generating any income.”
In a social media post, Gloss Up said, “Grinning So Big In A MugShot About My Way Of Life.” This post came after the purported incident. A fan reacted to the situation by stating, “Begin being honest with your artists… you only signed her because of her connection to [GloRilla]; you were attempting to recruit all the girls in some manner.” “She isn’t on the same level as Glo.”
One more user commented, “To be honest, while watching the show, it appeared her management/label was the real problem… not effectively promoting her… and assigning her an inadequate manager rather than providing media training and nurturing her natural talent… so perhaps this is a blessing in disguise.” Numerous commenters expressed that Gloss Up was signed solely due to her connection with fellow Memphis artist GloRilla. The two hosts frequently collaborated with Hitkidd.
Rapper Akbar V appeared to address the issue, stating, “The only [bch] glowing in that GloRilla period is Glo; the other [bches] got dropped, upset and struggling … you know why? Because y’all lack work ethic; y’all be so excited about getting signed, but now check out these artists… why be so excited about signing these [b**ches] who are struggling….” And they were the same ones with their noses in the air, attempting to look down on others; God doesn’t joke around.
Gloss Up appears to be moving on from the drama, as they leverage the attention to hint at a new album set to release on Sunday (Jan. 5). Take a look at the trailer for the latest release below!
