Dr. Edward Akinlade, the founder of a non-governmental organization, has disclosed plans to use short message service codes (SMS) to collect money for Nigeria’s underprivileged.
According to Edward, everyone in the chain of less fortunate people will be regarded as a beneficiary of the money.
He contends that there is suffering in the nation and that in order to help the voiceless become economically independent, someone has to speak up for them.
According to Edward, the fundraising strategy would use an SMS number, and everybody can contribute their quota with any amount.
He claimed that since poverty is a major problem throughout Africa, the concept is not exclusive to Nigeria.
According to the founder, poverty is a cankerworm that will cause many problems and throw everything out of order if it is not addressed and allowed to eat away at the fabric of the country.
According to Akinlade, eradicating poverty would make Nigeria and Africa great since it has an impact on all facets of society.
“My goal with the Agege Feeding Program is to generate money for the underprivileged in Nigeria and throughout Africa.
All those who fit into the less fortunate group will be eligible to receive funds from the fund.
“To help the voiceless become economically independent, someone has to speak up for those who are suffering throughout the nation.
“The fundraising strategy would be carried out using SMS code, just like it is in the UK, where everybody can give their quota with as little as N10.
“The concept is not exclusive to Nigeria because poverty is a major problem throughout the African continent.
It is crucial to remember that poverty is a cankerworm that will cause numerous problems and disrupt the country’s order if it is not addressed and allowed to eat away at its foundation.
Since poverty impacts every element of a community, “we all need to work together to ensure that it is eradicated in Nigeria and throughout Africa,” he stated.
