Lauren Pisciotta, Ye’s previous assistant, filed a lawsuit against the musician on Monday, June 3, citing sexual harassment, violation of contract, and wrongful termination.
Rolling Stone was able to obtain a copy of the court document that Ye used to appoint Pisciotta as his executive and personal assistant in 2021, with the requirement that she be available “24/7.” The woman said that the “Power” rapper initially had no problems with her creating an account on OnlyFans, and she was supposedly paid $1 million annually by the company.
But in 2022, he allegedly asked her to remove the account in return for $1 million, and she complied. Pisciotta then claimed that the father of four had sent her obscene messages.
“See my problem is I be wanting to fk, but then after I fk, I want a girl to tell me how hard they been fked while I’m fking them,” Ye allegedly stated in one text exchange, followed by the words, “Then I want her to cheat on me.”
Pisciotta asserted in a different one that the Yeezy designer questioned her, “Is my dk racist?” “I’m going to beat the st out of my racist dk and stare at pictures of white [women] with Black aes,” the person continued. According to reports, she was let go in 2022 and was offered a $3 million severance, which she accepted but never got.
For Ye in 2024, Pisciotta’s lawsuit was only the first of many. The estate of Donna Summer reached a settlement with Ty Dolla Sign and the Chicago rapper in May about the alleged unlawful use of her song “I Feel Love” from their collaborative album, VULTURES 1. Bruce Sudano, the late musician’s spouse, claims that the 1977 disco hit was sampled in the duo’s song “GOOD (DON’T DIE).”
“Plaintiff anticipates that the final settlement agreement can be executed shortly, and the parties will be in a position to file a stipulation for dismissal of the action in its entirety shortly after,” said attorney Stanton L. Stein.
Benjamin Deshon Provo, meantime, charged Ye in April of treating Black staff members at his private school, Donda Academy, “less favorably than their white counterparts.”
