NLE Choppa is experiencing a surge in popularity since “S**T ME OUT 2” was released. During his attendance at the 2024 BET Awards on Sunday, June 30, the rapper had a brief yet memorable meeting with Coco Jones.
Choppa and Jones looked at each other during Jones’ performance of “There Goes My Baby,” a song dedicated to Usher. The resident of Memphis, Tennessee, started beaming from ear to ear right away, and the exchange quickly went viral on social media.
Choppa said, “Come back, [Coco Jones],” as the caption for a video posted to Instagram. Not long after, his fans swamped the post’s comments area. “Everywhere he goes, [this] n**ga is in heat,” one remark with more than 34,000 likes said. “[Boy], she almost looked you out yo’ [drawls],” jokingly said another user.
As one fan put it, “You were willing to take a big chance, dude. I’m not upset with you. “You wouldn’t even know where to start with that chocolate cake,” another person asserted in the meanwhile. Given that the “Walk Em Down” singer had shown interest in GloRilla during a sit-down with BET earlier in the weekend, the situation was particularly humorous.
