It appears like Taylor Swift is making fun of Kanye West for not getting her 12th consecutive number one record.

Swift revealed a new digital version of her album The Tortured Poets Department on Thursday, August 15, which includes a live performance of her song “Thank You Aimee.”

In an apparent reference to the rapper’s name, the vocalist stylized the title of the song for the release to “thank You aimEe,” capitalizing the letters “Y” and “E.”

The capitalization of the letters “KIM” in the previous stylization (“thanK you aIMee”) led many to believe that Swift was alluding to West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

This most recent development in the lengthy tale between the two celebrities occurs soon after Taylor Swift narrowly defeated Kanye West on the charts.

Ye’s new Vultures 2 album featuring Ty Dolla $ign was unable to launch at No. 1 last week as The Tortured Poets Department made a comeback to the top of the Billboard 200.

In its first week of sales, Vultures 2 only sold 107,000 equivalent copies, which was less than the 142,000 that Swift’s album sold in its 14th week.

The project would have vaulted Kanye to fourth place among artists with the most number one hits on the Billboard 200, making it his first since The College Dropout, his 2004 debut, to not open at the top of the chart.

Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce’s father objected to the singer being identified on the album, Vultures 2, which upset Swift’s inner circle even though it lost the sales contest.

In a Facebook post, Ed Kelce hit out at Kanye for the song “Lifestyle,” which includes a guest verse from Lil Wayne where he raps: “Ice up in my veins, old flames tryna melt me / I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce.”

Even though Weezy wrote the song’s lyrics, the elder Kelce shared a Daily Mail article about it and said, “Mental illness on full display,” expressing his dissatisfaction with West.

In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Jack Antonoff, Taylor Swift’s producer, also chastised Kanye.

“There are moments when I’m a little bitch,” the Grammy-winning artist admitted. “You’re toast to me, but you come after my friend Taylor.”

It’s been a while since I would’ve answered Kanye’s call, he continued. When someone loses their sauce and moves on to shock others, I get so damn bored. It’s simply an astounding wastage of room.
