Eminem is familiar with supporting newer artists and recently expressed admiration for Latto.
Em joins Latto, Royce Da 5’9″, Mr. Porter, and host SMACK on the “Battles” round of Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow’s new season.
In a video that started spreading soon after the episode came out on Wednesday (November 27), Em shocks Latto by saying: “Just so you know, I love you.” “You are absolutely amazing.”
Meanwhile, in his own professional journey, Slim Shady has had quite a successful year.
The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), his Grammy-nominated album, reached over one million streams on Spotify last week after being released in July.
Based on the most recent data from KWORB on Thursday, the album has reached 1.3 million streams on the platform.
The attempt is nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards, with its main song “Houdini” also nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Music Video.
Recently, Em was also included in the list of 26 nominees for the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF).
An artist can be considered for induction after 20 years since their initial release of a commercially successful song.
The victors will be honored at the 2025 Induction & Awards Gala, happening on June 12 in New York City. When announcing their nominees, the SHOF included five songs but emphasized that they were just a small selection from their large collection.
Em was responsible for the creation of the songs “Lose Yourself,” “Stan,” “Mockingbird,” “Houdini,” and “Rap God.” Voting from qualified members will be open until midnight ET on December 22.
