Nigerians have been urged by President Bola Tinubu to consider the true meaning of Eid-el-Kabir, a holiday with great national importance.

On the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, a day that symbolizes sacrifice, faith, and obedience to the will of the Almighty, the said thus in his message to the Muslim Ummah.

Ajuri Ngelale, his Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, signed a statement on Saturday that included his message.

The President expressed his gratitude to the Muslim faithful and begged for Allah to accept their obedience and supplications.

The President underlined that sacrifice and duty are necessary components of nation-building, emphasizing that meaningful transformation requires a common purpose, will, and effort.

According to the statement, President Tinubu also urged people to pray for the country’s ongoing peace and stability while carrying out their assigned tasks to further harmony, peace, and advancement.

“The President places Nigeria on a firm pedestal of growth and development while acknowledging the sacrifices made by Nigerians in the last year.”

“President Tinubu reaffirms that the huge aspirations and sacrifices made by the people will not go in vain, as the economy is starting to strengthen and vitality is returning to important sectors.

The statement further stated that the President gave Nigerians confidence that his administration places a high priority on their economic, social, and physical security and that they won’t give up on this admirable goal.
