Drake’s OVO apparel line is honoring hockey icon Wayne Gretzky with their upcoming Winter 2024 collection.
“October’s Very Own x The Great One,” the brand wrote in a post on their page featuring Gretzky wearing one of the collaboration’s varsity jackets.
The jacket is offered in two color options, and the new collection also includes hoodies, crewnecks, t-shirts, and even a hockey card.

In November, Drake was presented with a gift from the animal rights group PETA after his OVO apparel line declared it would stop incorporating animal fur in its items.
PETA disclosed that it had delivered a box of vegan chocolate bunnies to the Canadian rapper as gratitude for ceasing the use of real fur in its apparel.
The organization also expressed in a statement: “Here’s to @champagnepapi! The clothing and lifestyle brand October’s Very Own (OVO), co-founded by Canadian rapper Drake, has announced that it will cease selling items made with genuine animal fur.
“The choice comes in response to pressure from PETA and over 100,000 emails sent to the brand by PETA’s advocates, calling on the company to prohibit fur, which encompasses fur from rabbits and coyotes.” As a gesture of gratitude, we sent the business some tasty bunny-shaped vegan chocolates.
PETA stated: “OVO’s choice places them in great company with the vast majority of fashion and apparel brands that are rejecting the atrociously cruel fur industry. Fur is meant for the animals that naturally have it, not for coats, shoes, or anything else.
In other news, Drake appears to be dismissing his loss to Kendrick Lamar, asserting in a leaked song that he isn’t concerned about rap conflicts.
Several unseen tracks from the 6 God’s collection emerged on Thursday (January 2), featuring one where he raps: “Forget a rap feud, I’m aiming to get the party going.”
The lively, energetic track features mentions of Lil Durk and 21 Savage (who seems to have a role on the song) as Drizzy raps: “Durk’s boy said ‘Marvin’s Room’ was his top song, he was vibing to it / A thousand guys rapping about murder stuff and only 10 who will actually act on it / Savage, you’re the only one checking on me when we’re truly in trouble, bro.”
It’s uncertain if Drake recorded the track and if it occurred prior to or following his well-known conflict with Kendrick.
The leak also features portions of unnamed collaborations between Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR, presumably meant for their forthcoming joint album.
