Drake’s latest lawsuit against Universal Music Group could have further damaged his image after many saw him lose to Kendrick Lamar, yet that isn’t preventing him from continuing to attack his staunch competitor.

On Tuesday (December 3), the 6 God was watching Twitch star LosPollosTV’s livestream when he playfully teased Kendrick by remixing a popular line from his newest album GNX.

While LosPollosTV expressed frustration over streaming services supposedly playing Kendrick’s hit song “Squabble Up” following Drake’s album Certified Lover Boy, the Toronto artist chimed in the comments with: “we need a donut emoji in the chat.”

He subsequently ridiculed Kendrick’s popular “Mustaaard!” phrase from “TV Off” by stating: “CUSTAAAARRRRRD.”

Drake’s effort at being funny backfired, as he was heavily mocked by fans on social media.

“Daily, Drake reveals just how cheesy he is smh,” remarked one critic, while another added: “There’s honestly no way to defend him now lol he’s truly behaving like a manchild.”

Some were unsettled by Drizzy mocking Kendrick on Twitch streams rather than addressing him in the studio.

“That same [guy] who referred to other rappers as ‘twitter fingers’ is online talking instead of producing a song,” one person noted, while another remarked: “That’s typical of Drake.” “Take another extremely strange action online.”

This is merely the most recent non-lyrical dig that Drake has made since he was considered to have been defeated by Kendrick in their diss track battle.

Last month, the head of OVO Sound joined Canadian streamer xQc’s Kick channel and boldly stated: “I’m present — mind, body and soul completely intact, if you were curious. “You require evidence to remove me; myths won’t suffice,” referencing the outrageous claims made on K.Dot’s numerous diss tracks.

In what may be the most contentious (and unprecedented) action to date, Drake introduced the ongoing conflict into a courtroom by submitting two “pre-action” legal petitions against UMG, the parent company of his label Republic and Kendrick Lamar’s longstanding label Interscope.

In these, Drizzy alleges that the music powerhouse employs streaming bots and payola to unnaturally elevate the popularity of Kendrick’s diss track “Not Like Us,” leading to his “economic harm.”

He also alleges that UMG slandered him by deliberately releasing a song that charges him with being a pedophile.

UMG has strongly refuted any allegations of misconduct, whereas Kendrick — who isn’t specifically mentioned as a respondent in the documents — has not provided any comments.

It is not yet known whether Drake intends to file a lawsuit against UMG and other involved parties regarding the supposed conspiracy.
