The “Certified Lover Boy” keeps hinting at his forthcoming project with fellow OVO artist PARTYNEXTDOOR. Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR are once again hinting at their upcoming joint album on social media. Despite Drake facing legal actions against Universal Music Group and Spotify, this may not hinder him from releasing his new R&B-oriented album alongside his fellow OVO member.

On Saturday night (Dec. 21), Drake posted an Instagram story featuring just three dollar sign GIFs, tagging PND without any additional context. This is a recurring theme in all mentions of the project by participants of the music camp located in Toronto. PARTYNEXTDOOR seldom releases several projects back-to-back, so fans are thrilled at the prospect of receiving a new full-length album from him soon after his latest solo effort, PND4.

Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR share a rich history of working together, dating back to PND’s debut self-titled album in 2013. Since then, they have collaborated on several tracks, such as “Members Only,” “Come and See Me,” “Recognize,” “Since Way Back,” and many others.

There is plenty of anticipation among fans about Drake’s upcoming moves after his widely covered feud with Kendrick Lamar from Compton and the subsequent legal proceedings. Although encountering significant resistance from the industry, he has nonetheless released tracks with 21 Savage, Young Thug, and Latto as part of his recent “100 Gigs” releases.

In his latest song “No Face,” the well-known rapper stated, “N**gas got turned up from the features I flowed on/ I need to know, I need to know/ How you get turned up off the n**ga you despising?/ Stats unmatchable, they’ve got the info off/ This is the time I see they’ve been wishing on.”

Although the story portrays Drake as vanquished after his clash with Lamar, he has increasingly appeared on social media, engaging with fans as usual. The “Away From Home” recording artist recently announced a $10,000 grand prize for a Drake look-alike contest in his hometown. After contacting the event organizer, they replied, “Please give me a moment to calm down from hyperventilating right now.

“I can’t believe this is [your] account and [you] are aware of this omg I adore you.” Tune in to Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s newest joint effort, “Members Only,” featured on his latest album, For All The Dogs.
