Drake wasted no time firing back at Kendrick Lamar following the release of his new album GNX.
During the weekend, Drizzy made an appearance on a livestream hosted by Canadian streamer xQc, where he introduced himself by stating: “I am fully present in mind, body, and soul, just in case you were curious.” You must have evidence to convince me; fiction will not suffice.”
The bold statement directly alludes to accusations in Kendrick’s diss tracks about Drake’s misconduct with minors, association with predators, and hidden paternity.

Although Kendrick didn’t specifically name Drake in his new album, he hinted at their feud.
In the first song of GNX, he rapped about people from his city not impressing him with promises of money or bitcoin. He stated that he would rather go to Hell than make amends with them.
He also mentioned Drizzy’s controversial diss track “Taylor Made Freestyle” and Snoop Dogg’s seeming approval of it: “Snoop shared ‘Taylor Made,’ I hoped he was high / I was shocked, but I had to move on.”
The Doggfather quickly replied to the comment with a playful joke on X’s new album, attributing it to edibles and praising the west coast.
Although Drake did not bring up Kendrick Lamar again during his livestream with xQc, he did find the opportunity to make a derogatory remark about The Weeknd, who was once a friend but is now a rival.
Following xQc’s start of playing the singer’s 2016 hit “Starboy,” Drizzy expressed: “You need to change this song, though.” You must change this one. We are the true Sixers, the authentic 6ix side. “We choose not to hear that.”
The ongoing dispute between the ex-partners sparked up again this year when The Weeknd appeared to criticize Drake on We Still Don’t Trust You, an album by Future and Metro Boomin.
The founder of OVO Sound responded in songs “Push Ups” and “Family Matters”, rapping on the latter: “Still upset about that girl, we didn’t even have sex, I just kissed her” and “The Weeknd’s music is being played in places where guys are more confident.”
