The Global Citizen Festival 2024 is scheduled for September 28 on the Great Lawn of Central Park in New York City. The main artists for the event were revealed on Tuesday (June 18), and they include Doja Cat and Post Malone.

The general sale began at 10 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster. Attendees can also win free tickets by participating in various advocacy actions through the Global Citizen app, as described on the company’s website.

“It’s been a few years since I was last on the Global Citizen Festival stage in Paris, and I’m excited to join forces with Global Citizen once again in Central Park this September to drive as much action as we can to make the world a better place,” Doja said in a press release. “We can all do our share to alleviate extreme poverty and advocate for equity. I’m excited to be a part of this significant evening of good change.”

Ambassador Hugh Jackman added, “As a long-time supporter of Global Citizen and its mission, I am delighted to be returning as host of the Global Citizen Festival this fall. For more than a decade, Global Citizen has made a life-saving difference for nearly 1.3 billion people worldwide, and we’ll meet again on September 28 to help end extreme poverty, preserve the environment, and demand equity.”

Megan Thee Stallion had been scheduled to headline in 2023. However, she canceled due to a “unforeseen scheduling conflict.” On the day of the occurrence, she happened to be performing “Savage Remix” with Beyoncé as part of the “RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR” in Houston.

Meanwhile, Doja launched Scarlet 2 CLAUDE in April 2024. It featured ASAP Rocky and Teezo Touchdown, with South African group The Joy contributing vocals on the reissue.

The “Attention” hitmaker’s debut at the Global Citizen Festival will come months after she finishes the European and United Kingdom leg of her “The Scarlet Tour.” Fans just got a glimpse of Doja’s performance production at Coachella, where she was the headline act for two weekends.
