The prestigious 9th Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Africa Awards brought together elites from Nigeria and Ghana in a stylish and elegant manner at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre. Since being established in 2016, the awards have recognized outstanding men succeeding in different areas and creating significant impacts on society. This year’s occasion maintained that custom by showcasing stylish outfits, heartfelt melodies, and uplifting instances.
Frank Edoho and Berla Mundi, the hosts, entertained the audience all night with their charm and great chemistry. On the red carpet, Doreen Avio and Uti Nwachukwu made sure that guests were able to show off before going into the event.
The evening’s entertainment was thrilling, featuring memorable performances by Chike, KiDi, and Becca, which left the audience eager for more.
The 9th EMY Africa Awards dazzled spectators with stunning fashion on display. Nana Akua Addo appeared stylish in a metallic silver dress, Juliet Ibrahim stood out in black, and Lydia Forson combined comfort and elegance effortlessly. As the night progressed, different individuals were awarded in a variety of categories. DJ Spinall from Nigeria was awarded the Creative and Support Arts Award. During his acceptance speech, DJ Spinall expressed gratitude to all who had backed his journey and devoted his award to individuals pursuing projects they are passionate about.
Timini Egbuson was awarded the title of Actor of the Year. Ghanaian recipients comprised Dr. Tata John Kani OIS OBE, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Stephen Appiah, honored as the Continental Sports Icon.
