The YouTuber who became a recording artist expresses his position clearly about his former partners.
DDG has been frequently in the headlines following his high-profile split from renowned actress and singer Halle Bailey. On Friday (Dec. 13), the YouTuber who became a rapper shared his thoughts about his former partners.
In a recent update, he stated, “Regarding my son, I really don’t care about any of my former partners, family excluded. I don’t view someone I interact with daily as my ‘ex’.” A fan replied, “I don’t know, twin, but those Rubi Rose memories are talking to you like the green goblin mask.” Another person mentioned, “He says that Halle is regarded as family.” He mentioned this earlier. When will you all understand that he loves her and will protect her no matter what?
Although numerous individuals are familiar with Bailey and Rubi Rose as his latest partners, he has repeatedly stated in the past that he has no concern for anything Rose does, and he will always hold respect and care for the mother of his son Halo.
Recently, the two young parents had a slight disagreement after Halo appeared on Kai Cenat’s “Mafiathon 2” stream without Bailey’s prior consent. Prior to disabling her X account, she shouted, “Hello, everyone. Just wanted to let you know that I’m away and I do not consent to my baby being on a live stream this evening. I wasn’t informed or alerted, and I am very distressed to have my baby exposed to millions of people.
Soon after, she expressed, “I am his mother and guardian, and [I feel] upset that I wasn’t informed, particularly while I am away.” She subsequently withdrew her statements and conveyed that she is experiencing postpartum, which led to her initial reaction. DDG never openly responded to the situation, but he did post a thank you to Cenat for giving Halo several gifts and elaborated on his thoughts about being a father. In a heartfelt post, he stated, “Wow, this dad thing is so awesome. Ensure you all look after your kids.”
On Friday (Dec. 13), DDG recently released two new songs, one of which includes a verse from Tory Lanez that was recorded while incarcerated. In the track, Lanez stated, “Shorty, my city speaks of me favorably, aware that these girls can never reject me / The only thing I wish I hadn’t done that night is leaping out of the pool with Kylie.”
Lanez mentioned his fellow Canadian rapper Drake in the track, seemingly referencing their recent rap competition with Kendrick Lamar. Check out the new song below!
