The upcoming album will be Cordae’s first full-length release since “From a Birds Eye View” in 2022.
The Crossroads, Cordae’s much anticipated third studio album, will be released on Friday, November 15. The former YBN member revealed the complete tracklist, which includes 16 tracks featuring Ye and Ty Dolla Sign Anderson, prior to its release.Paak, among other things.
Appropriately, the project will begin with “Intro” before moving into songs like “06 Dreamin” and “Back On The Road,” which features Lil Wayne—the first of two collaborations between him and Cordae on the album. The Juicy J-assisted songs “Neva See It” and “Don’t Walk Away,” featuring Ravyn Lenae and Jordan Ward, are two more collaborative projects to anticipate.
Earlier in the month, pre-release offerings “Mad As F**k,” “Summer Drop,” and “Saturday Mornings” were joined by “Syrup Sandwiches,” which featured a guest verse from Joey Badass. A music video featuring the two musicians wandering the streets of New York was released alongside the first-mentioned song. Below is the complete tracklist.
Cordae called The Crossroads his “best work yet” on the “The Stephen A. Smith Show.” “My entire motto, as I mentioned before, has simply been pushing that pen,” he clarified. In terms of production, I believe that this is the most tasteful beat selection I have ever used in a project. I wrote the verses to a few of the tunes eight times. Even though I might only make it to the first verse, I still wanted to push myself to see if I could write more.
The upcoming album will be Cordae’s first since From a Birds Eye View, released in 2022 and peaking at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 chart. Lil Durk, Eminem, Roddy Ricch, and Gunna were among its musicians, and Boi-1da, Cardiak, and Hit-Boy, to mention a few, were in charge of its production.
