“Megan” The new album from Megan Thee Stallion is out, and it contains multiple jabs at her arch rival Nicki Minaj.

The rapper from Houston doesn’t take long to resume their battle, seemingly going after Nicki in song number two, “Rattle.”

In her introductory line, she raps, “I wanted everybody right here with me/ But that was my fault, bein’ too friendly/ I was thinkin’ everything was all good/ But the whole time, you was my enemy.”

“Damn, bitch, it been four years/ Worry ’bout your man and your kid/ Your life must be borin’ as fuck if you still reminiscin’ ’bout shit that we did,” she subsequently seems to be referring to Nicki’s spouse and child, spitting.

“It been four years” appears to be a reference to either Megan’s “WAP” partnership with Cardi B, a rival of Nicki Minaj, or Tory Lanez’s shooting of Megan, which Nicki has trivialized in her criticism of the “Savage” hitmaker.

Then, Megan seems to be speaking directly to Nicki’s supporters when she says, “And I ain’t worried ’bout the bitter-bitch link-up/ Y’all hoes earned them seats in the fan club,” perhaps alluding to the Young Money rapper’s appearance on her Pink Friday 2 Tour with JT, BIA, Akbar V, and other celebrities.

The final line of her scathing lyric, “Ain’t got no tea on me, this ho think she TMZ,” may be a reference to Nicki’s comment on Megan being encouraged to have an abortion in the “Tea Party” edition of her Amazon Amp radio show.

The second song, “Figueroa,” is more of a lyrical punch, with Megan specifically mentioning Nicki’s devoted fan base.

In addition to criticizing “pussy hoes on the internet usin’ me to drive traffic,” she raps, “I’m a motherfuckin’ brat, not a Barbie/ On go with any bitch that wanna start it.

“After a contentious legal dispute, Tina Snow left her previous label, 1501 Certified Ent., and released Megan, her first album since. This came about just months after a battle broke out between her and Nicki Minaj.

Megan’s hateful song “Hiss” ignited the rivalry because she made a barely disguised allusion to Nicki Petty’s husband Kenneth Petty’s 1995 attempted rape conviction. She rapped,

“These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law,” referring to the federal statute that mandates that authorities release information about registered sex offenders to the public.

The “Superbass” actor retaliated with the equally nasty “Big Foot,” which included several obscene claims along with jabs at Megan’s mother’s passing and the previously stated shooting event.

Things quickly calmed down, with Megan winning out and Nicki receiving a lot of flak from people, including Charlamagne Tha God.
