Chike, a Nigerian singer, composer, and actor, has launched “Son of Chike,” the eagerly anticipated album project.
In order to continue ruling the industry, Chike created the exquisite and masterfully crafted work “Son of Chike.” The album is a tribute to love, tenacity, and his roots; he blends Afrobeats with a smooth R&B sound, and the overall composition is definitely a great and fun one to groove to.
Eleven strong and energetic tracks, including vocalists such as Olamide, Qing Madi, Mohbad, Ladipoe, and Amaeya, are featured on the CD.
This is his third album after the critically acclaimed “Boo of the Booless,” which came out on February 14, 2020, and “The Brother’s Keeper,” which came out in 2022.
The 12-track album includes previously released singles like “Ego Oyibo,” “Man Not God,” and the number-one song “Egwu,” which was recorded with the late Mohbad. Chike honors his roots, underlines that he is his father’s son, explores love, and deftly tinkers with the classic highlife of his eastern Nigerian background in his latest album.
