Charlamagne Tha God claims that even though Kanye West is one of the most popular and significant rappers of the past 20 years, his abilities have diminished.

Speaking on comedian Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant show, the Breakfast Club host referred to Kanye as musically irrelevant and attacked him for trying to get involved in the fight between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

He declared, “Kanye rapping is irrelevant.” “It would have been like, ‘Oh sh*t, Kanye got involved in the beef,’ if he had done this ten years ago.”

“In 2024, nobody gives a damn about Kanye rapping. Particularly when the rappers you genuinely want to hear from are the men rapping.

Despite Charlamagne’s remarks, earlier this year, Kanye’s song “Carnival,” from his collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ignVultures 1, became his first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 in almost ten years.

It was his first number-one song as a lead artist since “Stronger,” which peaked in 2007 and is now certified diamond.

In addition to topping the Billboard 200 when it was released in February, Vultures 1 has since plummeted to No. 95 on the chart. In contrast, other semi-recent rap albums, such as Drake’s For All the Dogs, Travis Scott’s Utopia, and Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You, have remained stable in the top 25.

The Chaldean When Kanye mocked Drake and J. Cole on a remix of Future, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick Lamar’s song “Like That,” Tha God previously took issue with him.

“The leader of the Legion of Lame is Kanye West. In April, he declared on The Breakfast Club, “What a hateful human being.” What kind of man gathers around and declares, “We were all energized by the elimination of.”?

“This man wants to transfer his anguish and pain onto other people because he is so miserable and has never dealt with it. Since Kendrick made fun of Drake and Cole for cliquing up on “Like That,” I don’t even want him to reply any more.

“Don’t join the legion of lame, Kendrick,” he said. What are you doing, Metro? You should all be fleeing from Kanye West. Do not hold The 48 Laws of Power in your hands? Avert the unpleasant and misfortunate.

Kanye has made the entire situation ridiculous. Up until he introduced his envious, jealous ass into the scene, it was funny.

In their 2018 conversation, Charlamagne also disclosed that Kanye had removed insulting remarks he had made about Drake and Virgil Abloh.

He claimed, “He was talking about how Drake and Virgil stole the culture from him when I interviewed him back in the day. And he was still hating at this point when he was awake. In fact, he deleted the portion of the interview when he disparaged Drake and Virgil.

Kanye hasn’t said anything since the 6 Gods’ feud with Kendrick intensified with diss tracks like “Not Like Us” and “Family Matters,” even though he took more jabs at Drake in an interview with Justin Laboy last month.
