There’s never been a more contentious rapper than Eminem. Although the rapper gained notoriety for referencing Kendrick Lamar, Ye, Machine Gun Kelly, and other celebrities on his last album, it’s possible that his most moving jab was directed against Candace Owens.

From his recently released project The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), the rapper dropped many jabs at the similarly divisive political commentator on the new song “Lucifer.” “Candace O, I’m not angry with her / I won’t throw the fact that she forgot her Black identity back at her / You can laugh at her, just like crackers / She’s coming back” — the legendary Detroit rapper lashes out.

He cries, “Like the National Anthem, I won’t stand for the tramp, or save this MAGA dirt bag in a skirt / Just opened the biggest worms on the planet earth / Call her Grand Wizard, Klandace, or Grand Dragon.”

Only hours after the record leaked, Owens claimed, “I could not have laughed harder when somebody sent this to me,” on Friday, July 12th’s episode of “The TMZ Podcast.” It simply seems so cheesy to me. Like, he’s officially established himself as a dull person now. I’m going to refer to this as his Hillary Clinton hot sauce moment because it just sounds like him. Owens continued, “I mean, he’s just so driven to prove to Black folks that he’s real. “Go ahead and become a grandfather.”

The new Eminem album is full of name drops and shock value. The rapper begins the song “Renaissance” with the lines, “Soon as I quit givin’ a f**k I started to sell a bit/ Now let’s travel inside the mind of a hater/ ‘Cause I don’t see no fans, all I see is a bunch of complainers/ ‘Kendrick’s album was cool, but it didn’t have any bangers/ Wayne’s album or Ye’s, couldn’t tell you which one was lamer.”
