Tim Kenny, 51, a Town season ticket holder, commented on Kieran McKenna’s new deal at Ipswich: “I am delighted – best signing of the season so far as he’s been at the heart of everything the club has done for the past two years.”
“I didn’t feel as anxious as some others did; many of my friends were freaking out, but I had a gut feeling he would stay with us.
“It feels he thinks there’s a project here that he might not get at somewhere like Chelsea, Manchester United or Brighton.”
According to Mr. Kenny, he enjoyed “two of the best years of supporting” the club that he could recall.
“They just need to keep doing what they are doing,” he stated.
