A surprise project by Westside Gunn is set to release prior to the release of his eagerly awaited Flygod Is an Awesome God III (Trilogy) album.

The founder of Griselda posted a video of himself in a Parisian studio to Instagram on Sunday, August 18, along with the caption, “I just made this album in a day.” I was curious to know if I still owned it. I’m not even waiting, listen to me. I want to end this right away. I need to quickly figure out what has to be done, how to execute it, and what distribution to use. This is to inform the public.

“Yet again, I’m praying,” he captioned the photo. I arrived here in order to mix and master my album, FlyGod Is An Awesome God 3. While I awaited my files, I played some beats, felt a vibe, ordered him to load it, and created a song. A day later, I created a new project.

“As I’ve been doing so much wrestling and fashion, I was thinking about dropping a project even before the album. I’m ready to get back on my WSG SHÎT!!!!!”

Gunn’s video had an unreleased song in the backdrop, offering fans a sneak peek at the impending album.

On X (previously Twitter) in July, Westside Gunn revealed the release of Flygod Is an Awesome God III (Trilogy). In the trilogy Flygod is an amazing God. I’m loving this album! The game is missing me, even though my kids are entertaining the heck out of me, so I had to get the Mask back out because this stuff is so raw and dusty. The effort is worthy of album of the year, he further bragged.

He wrote on Twitter, “My album is amazing and AOTY.” “REMEMBER WHAT I SAID!!!!!” I executive push this to the limit. Emojis for goats and scorpions

Even though the Buffalo, New York native teased Flygod Is an Awesome God III (Trilogy), he hasn’t yet revealed a release date for the album.

Westside Gunn said he was done with traditional studio albums last year.

Before And Then You Pray For Me was released, he stated in an interview with Rolling Stone that “[this is] going to be the last album where I take the time to say ‘this is an album.'”

“I was working on all these projects, like mixtapes, while I was doing the Hitler Wears Hermes series.” In two or three days, I was taping the entire thing.

He went on, “I’m not saying I won’t make a seven-song EP with The Alchemist, or I won’t come with a five-song EP with Madlib, or I won’t rap. I’ll take care of everything, but I’m done with taking care of the studio album.
