Beanie Sigel recently entered the food and beverage scene with a new food truck – and in addition to being the owner, he is also capable of preparing every menu item himself due to the cooking skills he acquired during his time in prison.

During a recent conversation with Philadelphia radio host Mina Say What about his new project, Beans shared: “While I was away on one of my breaks, I didn’t sit idle.” “I needed to submit my offer, so I pursued culinary arts.”

He added, “I simply sought the certifications, and it assisted me in improving my diet.” I don’t cook for the inmates. I prepared meals for the guards. “They consume differently!”

Beanie Sigel’s food truck, named ‘Grab & Roll, Wings & Bowls,’ is located in the Broad Street Bully’s city of Philadelphia at 2400 Passyunk Ave., operating Wednesday to Saturday from 4 to 10pm. It features appropriately named dishes that reference his lyrics and connections, with a selection that includes regional favorites such as cheesesteaks, chicken wings, and fried seafood, along with options for breakfast and dessert.

“Adding taste to the streets!” states the truck’s Instagram profile. “Culinary delights on the go.”

In additional news, Beanie disclosed last year that he has pardoned the individual who shot and almost took his life ten years ago.

In 2014, the Philadelphia rapper was shot in the back two times and consequently fell into a coma.

In an April interview on Sway In the Morning, Beanie was asked about the shooting and whether he could forgive the person who shot him.

He answered: “You must. When you comprehend, you must. How is it possible to seek forgiveness while not being willing to forgive? ‘Cause there’ll come a moment when everyone will require forgiveness.

“When you fully pass over and you’re not here any longer, you’ll need forgiveness from [God] or no one else can forgive you.”

When inquired whether forgiving the person who shot him gives him a sense of liberation and tranquility, Beans replied: “I won’t claim that the feeling disappears, but it definitely makes you more aware of specific choices.”

For me, it removed the weight of knowing things I’ve done in my life. “It removed a small portion of that burden from me.”

No one was ever apprehended for the drive-by shooting, although it is thought that the rapper was not the target since he had just dropped his kids off at school.
