In other remarks made at the Fenty Beauty event, Rihanna stressed the value of home in the development of her makeup business. “My house in Barbados was the first location I ever encountered and recognized beauty. I used to ask myself, “Why is she making that face when she does her makeup?” whenever I looked at my mother. I now create the exact face when applying makeup. In a video that was posted on Twitter, she stated, “You guys have always inspired me.”
