ASAP Rocky’s supporters will sadly need to hold off until next year to listen to ‘Don’t Be Dumb,’ although he has not yet explained the reason.

ASAP Rocky’s Don’t Be Dumb has been delayed once more. On the morning of Tuesday (Dec. 10), fans who bought pre-order merchandise for the project — including box sets, vinyl records, and CDs — received an email about their refunds.

“The launch date has been pushed to early 2025.” “The notice stated, ‘We will return your order and encourage you to place a new order once the album is in stock.’” “To show our gratitude for your patience, please enjoy the included coupon for a gift upon release.”

The LP was originally set to be released on Aug. 30, but its release date was postponed to the fall. As the holiday season approaches rapidly, the Harlem native’s loyal fans will have to wait until the new year, likely in the first quarter.

Besides a handful of promotional singles, little information is available about Don’t Be Dumb. In September, ASAP Rocky informed Dazed that audiences might “anticipate the unforeseen.” Concerning the initial delays, he stated, “I had the opportunity to evaluate the piece again and make some final adjustments before we officially launched it, and I simply wanted to share the music and content during that time. “So that’s what we are currently working on.”

So far, he’s increased excitement for the collection of work with “HIGHJACK” featuring Jessica Pratt and the J. Cole collaboration “Ruby Rosary.”

As per REVOLT, ASAP Rocky once hinted at potential collaborations with Lil Yachty, Thundercat, Miguel, and his regular partner Tyler, The Creator at some time. The production is anticipated to be managed by figures such as Mike Dean, Hitkidd, Madlib, Metro Boomin, and Pharrell Williams, with whom he collaborated on 2023’s “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n).”

In early 2025, the father of two is set to face trial for supposedly shooting ASAP Relli. He entered a not guilty plea to two charges of assault with a firearm, although a judge and jury in Los Angeles are anticipated to review the evidence beginning on Jan. 21.
