Sunday (June 16) morning, ASAP Rocky and his beautiful children debuted a new Father’s Day-inspired ad with Bottega Veneta. The popular luxury brand showcased his and Rihanna’s sons playing piano together in an adorable fashion.
To announce the new campaign, ASAP Rocky stated, “THIS SPECIAL MOMENT CAPTURES THE VULNERABILITY, LOVE AND INTERACTION BETWEEN MY SONS AND I, I’M PROUD [TO] BE THE MAN THEY CALL DADDA. HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL PROUD DADS OUT THERE, ASAP”
Fans have jokingly blamed Rocky for Rihanna’s lack of new music since her legendary 2016 album, ANTI. Although she has yet to reveal a new project, she has stayed visible in the public eye as an entrepreneur and beauty and fashion star.
The Barbados-born singer recently announced that she has started working on her much-anticipated ninth album. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, she revealed that she is starting again with her upcoming full-length debut. Rihanna intends to revisit some of her old tracks to see what route she wants to take.
This announcement came following the debut of her latest venture, Fenty Hair. On June 4, the singer and entrepreneur unveiled the product line on social media, debuting a blonde pixie cut and sharing her personal connection to the initiative.
“We have a new family moving in! It’s time to have the hair experience you’ve been waiting for, because [Fenty Hair] is pulling up, the singer declared. You are aware of how important it is to me to change my hair. From weaves to braids to natural hair, I’ve had practically every texture, color, and length,” she continued.
On June 6, RiRi was photographed in New York City sporting a T-shirt that said, “I’m retired,” in an attempt to spark conversation. The words “This is as dressed up as I get” were written underneath it. The musician was photographed by paparazzi walking with ASAP Rocky, the father of her two children, who was dressed in polo shirts and jeans.
Fans responded to the “Kiss It Better” hitmaker’s clothing choice in unanticipated fashion. Is Rihanna seen in a recent photo sporting a “[I’m] retired” shirt? You guys and She better stop toying with me,” a social media user commented.
