Tariq Cherif, co-founder of Rolling Loud, suggested that ASAP Rocky’s ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ will be released prior to his headlining performance, while the release date for Playboi Carti’s ‘I AM MUSIC’ remains uncertain.

On Tuesday (Jan. 7), Rolling Loud California announced its 2025 lineup, with the festival taking place on March 15 and 16 at Inglewood’s Hollywood Park Grounds. ASAP Rocky and Playboi Carti are set to headline, with Latin sensation Peso Pluma expected to give a special performance.

Before Rocky’s performance, fans can see YG, Sexyy Red, BossMan Dlow, Ab-Soul, and Cash Cobain perform live. Additional performers for Saturday’s lineup include DDG, “Kehlani” hitmaker Jordan Adetunji, Lay Bankz, 310babii, and Ski Mask the Slump God, among others.

On Sunday, it was confirmed that Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang, who are signed to Opium Records, will perform. Other performers include Blxst, Quavo, Dom Kennedy, Tee Grizzley, and Luh Tyler. It’s important to mention that both Lefty Gunplay and AzChike, who appeared on Kendrick Lamar’s unexpected sixth studio album, GNX, will also entertain the audience with a mix of popular tracks.

The presale starts on Friday (Jan. 10) at 11 a.m. PT, then general sales at noon. Claro! Por favor, forneça o texto que você gostaria que eu parafraseasse. According to Rolling Loud, weekend passes will begin at a price of $179, and VIP options will also be offered.

Interestingly, both Rocky and Carti have delayed albums that remain unreleased. The Harlem native’s Don’t Be Dumb was initially scheduled for Aug. 30, 2024, but was delayed to late autumn. The situation became more complicated in mid-December when fans were issued refunds for pre-ordered products linked to the LP.

“The release date has been pushed back to early 2025,” stated an email from Rocky’s AWGE. Fortunately, it seems that could be occurring, since Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq Cherif replied to the festival’s IG post with, “Let’s go! A small bird informed me [we’ll receive a] new Rocky album prior to the festival.”

Carti, in contrast, offered fans a glimpse of I AM MUSIC at Rolling Loud Miami in late 2024. Although hinting at the project with “H00DBYAIR,” “KETAMINE,” and “EVILJ0RDAN,” there’s still no information on its release date.
