After winning their battle to get a sexual assault lawsuit in California dismissed, T.I. and his spouse Tiny may now rejoice.

The couple’s representative informed AllHipHop on Friday, August 9, that the lawsuit, which was initially brought by an unnamed woman earlier this year, has been formally dropped.

The representative said, “The court agreed with Tip and Tameka that Jane Doe doesn’t appear to have any viable claims.” “These allegations are some of the many false, salacious allegations thrown out into the media in a cheap attempt to extort money from them, as Tip and Tameka stated three years ago.”

The rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris, and his spouse requested the case’s dismissal last month.

A woman going by the name Jane Doe sued the two in January for an incident that happened in 2005, citing “sexual battery, assault, negligence, and false imprisonment.” The pair said in a statement they provided to HipHopDX at the time of the filing that the plaintiff had “been threatening to file this lawsuit for three years.”

“All the claims asserted in the Complaint are time-barred because the statute of limitations for such claims has long expired over sixteen years ago,” the Harrises’ counsel argued in the motion submitted last month. Furthermore, the Complaint does not allege enough facts to support any of the claims made in it, even though Defendants Clifford Harris (referred to as “Mr. Harris”) and Tameka Harris (referred to as “Mrs. Harris”), collectively known as the “Defendants” or “Harrises,” deny that any of the alleged conduct ever took place.

“Therefore, Defendants seek to dismiss all the claims in the Complaint… for failure to state a claim upon which any relief can be granted,” the attorney said in her statement. Since there isn’t a way to fix these shortcomings… The defendants want the entire action dismissed.

Jane Doe can’t file the complaint again at this point.

The plaintiff, who was enlisting in the Air Force, allegedly met the legendary Atlanta rapper and his wife at a nightclub in Los Angeles, according to the lawsuit.

The woman thought Tiny might have tampered with one of her drinks. She then went to a hotel room with the rapper “What You Know” and his spouse, along with two other girls. She claimed that Tip invaded her vagina with his toe despite her repeated warnings not to after they had a shower with the Southern MC and his wife and massaged him as he watched porn.

How are you doing? She added that he told her, “Looks like you in last place,” after she had gone to the bathroom to throw up.

Then, the woman said, she passed out, and the next morning, still in “serious pain,” she was dragged out of the hotel room.
