Tory Lanez, who is serving his time for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, is getting ready to release new songs from behind bars.

Lanez has been releasing a couple tracks from his hoard each week during the month of July. However, he just disclosed that he has discovered a way to record in high definition while incarcerated, and he claims to be prepared to return to the public with a fury.

In a recorded call that was uploaded to his Instagram on Wednesday, July 24, he said, “After about 20-something to 30-something fuck-ups and mistakes, me and my engineer have finally figure out how to record music over the jail phone and still keep the quality as professional as I had it on the street.” It’s finished. I have successfully broken the code, dude. This implies that I will continue to release new music despite these prison walls. It’s absurd!

Having stated that, I’m going to start dumping hot coal heaps on top of your heads. I’m releasing the brand-new “Free Tory” playlist, which will be updated weekly with fresh tracks that I’m continuously recording while incarcerated. This is the first of its kind, and even though God has previously demonstrated to me that this is really a transitory situation, it proves that they cannot contain my spirit, ambition, soul, passion, or destiny no matter where they place me.

Although Tory Lanez is still appealing his conviction, he is presently serving a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

The event took place in July 2020 after Kylie Jenner’s party, during which the two rappers got into an inebriated argument. Tory did not testify at the trial, despite his long-standing claims of innocence.

The grounds of Lanez’s appeal include “Prosecutorial Misconduct” and “Erroneous Admission of Evidence,” but his request has been postponed so that the prosecution can review it.

Deputy District Attorney Kathy Ta gave a written statement from Megan in court following his conviction.

The native of Houston attacked Tory in it for fabricating stories about the massacre and downplaying her “trauma” in her later songs. She claimed that as a result, since the shooting, she had “not experienced a single day of peace.”

Megan added, “He not only shot me, he made a mockery of my trauma.” He attempted to paint himself in the role of a victim and his goal was to ruin my soul and character.

“He paid bloggers to spread misleading information about the case on social media, and he lied to anyone who would listen.” To further his cause and harm my reputation, he released songs and music videos.
