The rapper Ludacris’ event in Milwaukee was postponed due to inclement weather, but Milwaukee fans were nonetheless treated to a free performance this week.

Due to severe rain and thunderstorms, the event in the Wisconsin city was forced to be postponed due to safety concerns on Saturday, June 22. Still, Luda didn’t want to disappoint his followers, so he took a microphone and strolled around the 3rd St. Market Hall, performing.

In an Instagram post featuring a video of the performance, he said, “My Show In Milwaukee Got Cancelled Last Night Due To Rain & Thunderstorms But I DEFINITELY Wasn’t Leaving The City Without Touching The People.” “Thanks to @stevedastoner4149 for inspiring the #freeconcert movement.”

Ludacris, who is known for putting on amazing shows, won his first Webby Award for his outstanding performance at the Atlanta Falcons Hip Hop 50 celebration last year.

The rapper-turned-actor thanked the committee and admitted that it was on his agenda regardless of the prize when he responded to the recognition on Instagram in April.

In a video, he declared, “I just found out that I won a Webby Award—the biggest accolade on the Internet.” “For descending via rappel from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. I’m amazed as I always wanted to perform this kind of thing.”

As part of the city’s celebrations honoring 50 years of hip-hop, Luda rappelled from the roof of Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium in November while spitting his iconic hit song “Move Bitch.”

The rapper and actor joked on Instagram, “I Got Some Georgia Dome Today,” alluding to the former home of the Falcons. He also shared GoPro footage of his theatrical stunt, which amazed many of his rap contemporaries who were watching at home in addition to the fans who were in attendance.
