Ice Spice released a different version of her Y2K! cover on Sunday (June 23), following some controversy surrounding the original.The Bronx rapper was seen in the photo looming over the skyline of New York City, a train in one hand, and police helicopters circling in the background.The artwork’s color scheme was primarily blue and green, same like the previous one.

Ice was seen sporting a cropped jacket and shorts with a leopard design, though, in the most recent image.A second train is stuck between her legs, with a tiny replica of the “Deli” hitmaker.

Sadly, there were conflicting responses to the most recent version as well. “I love you, girl, but these covers aren’t really me.” Nearly 3,000 people liked one comment that said, “They look so cheap.” “It’s giving Halloween Temu, and we are here for it!” said another admirer.

In the meantime, the performer was defended against claims that she was attempting to copy Nicki Minaj’s Gag City idea.They countered, saying that since she is from New York City, that is where the album’s location should be. You guys always look for reasons to be mean to her.

Ice famously gave the Pink Friday rapper a shoutout on her most recent song, “Phat Butt,” which was released on June 21. She spit on the RIOTUSA-produced cut, “Never lucky, I been blessed; Queen said I’m the princess/ Been gettin’ them big checks in a big house, havin’ rich sex.”

Ice addressed comments regarding the original artwork on June 6. “Y2K is David LaChapelle! He’s very charming and extraordinary. She said on Twitter, “He f**ks [with] a real b**tch, so he didn’t even charge me.” “I want to thank you for all of the amazing artwork you have created over the years. I love this cover so much, and it’s true that “Y2K” was intentionally written on the garbage can. Could you speculate why?
