After a social media altercation earlier this year, GloRilla and JT are now on good terms.
The feud began in April when Glo’s mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang, was released and she made reference to JT’s name.
“Me and JT ain’t the best of friends but we ain’t beefin’,’” she raps.
After they allegedly got into a fight at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, there had been rumors of a falling out between the two for about a year. The name-drop was enough to trigger the former City Girls rapper to send a barrage of messages on X.
However, Glo said all is OK now in an interview with Ebro Darden for Apple Music late last week.
“JT and I are really cool, but I didn’t come in wanting to get into it with nobody,” she remarked. The supporters were to blame. It was really needless. The fans were the main driving force behind it. Additionally, I believe that fans constantly make an effort to support other artists. However, I don’t really allow the fans to affect me in that way. Actually, I don’t. The problem is that I make a conscious effort to avoid them when I witness them attempting to create a story.
JT had stated in her first tweets to GloRilla: “I been said she didn’t! She was the one who became extremely quiet! released a song about rap bitches being slapped, and now it’s female unity? CORNY!
JT continued by responding to a fan’s claim that he was subtly disparaging Glo, adding, “Definitely not! I always start by wishing these people well, and I don’t have any personal problems with them.
JT said, “I guess she was waiting on her tape to address & who went clear up going viral for slapping someone when the whole hood believed it!” in response to a fan’s question concerning the rumor’s start and why GloRilla hadn’t refuted the untrue allegations. It was exactly right! [emoji of a sleeping face].
GloRilla soon joined the conversation and responded to JT with a beauty suggestion in a since-deleted tweet. “I said it ain’t no beef, but you’re the one with the secret animosity, so shut up and fix those uglass wigs,” she wrote.
JT responded, “Ugly wigs?,” not taking the criticism lying down. How stupid are you, bitch? You will never be this raw in your life. I’ve been that bitch who’s just getting training wheels, and I’ve had fake tittys off care credit.
“To be honest, I thought Glo was a genuine bitch man, but she wasn’t—she was also responsible for all of that shit with the FNF remix! entered the game disheveled and fake, ready to turn on your friends as well. She had to leap back on the roof!” she said in a different thread.
By publishing a list of her mugshots with an empty space, presumably left open for a fight with Glo, JT went so far as to imply that the feud would eventually get physical.
Glo clapped back, “Girl, those mugshots are of you stealing, not fighting bitch, STFU.”
