On October 9, ABC will premiere the fourth season of “Abbott Elementary.” Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, and other cast members have been building anticipation with different teasers leading up to its premiere.

Williams, who plays Gregory Eddie on the program, revealed his ideal guest star in an interview with PEOPLE that was published on Sunday, August 18. He said, “I would love to see Solange as a cousin.” We seem to have similar looks.

He went on, mentioning Martin Eddie, the father of his role, saying, “It’s like us, and then my dad is [played by] Orlando [Jones.” Yes, I agree that Solange would be fantastic. Simply include a family member.

Previously, Solange portrayed the characters of Nikki in Johnson Family Vacation, Bring It On: All or Nothing, and Charlotte in “One on One.” In the meanwhile, “Abbott Elementary” has included numerous star cameos. For instance, Vince Staples played Maurice in multiple episodes of Season 2. Other celebrities that make appearances throughout the series include Ayo Edebiri, Taraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart, and online phenomenon Sabrina Brier.

Brunson made the announcement that “Abbott Elementary” will have its first-ever crossover episode with another TV program during San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year. Sadly for supporters, the Emmy winner withheld the following information: “I won’t tell you with whom, what, where, or when, but it’s actually exciting.”

Williams also discussed the significance of his role elsewhere in his conversation with PEOPLE. “It’s one of the most important things I’ve ever done in my career,” he said, elaborating on his overall goal of “showing not only Black male educators in a certain light, but then also Black men in a certain light that are allowed to be emotional and have full emotional spectrums, and then also be in love.”
