Finally, Travis Scott’s Days Before Rodeo mixtape—complete with extra songs—is available on streaming services.

In honor of the project’s tenth anniversary, the Cactus Jack rapper has revealed that the highly anticipated release—which was initially made available for free in 2014—will debut on the commercial scene on August 23.

“DAYS BEFORE RODEO 10yr ANNIVERSARY BEING CELEBRATED BY FINALLY RE-RELEASING EVERYWHERE AUGUST 23RD AND MAYBE COUPLE DBR SONGS FROM THAT ERA FROM THE VAULT Travisscott.com more info and shizzzz shsbsbsbsb IM FCKING JUMPING THRU WALLS AHHHH,” Scott wrote on Instagram, sharing old footage of him working on the mixtape with artists like Young Thug and Metro Boomin.

Days Before Rodeo’s digital deluxe editions with “unreleased DBR era bonus tracks” are pre-ordered for $4.99 on Scott’s website in addition to being streamed.

The project is also offered for sale as a vinyl record and in several merchandise bundles.

Days Before Rodeo, Travis Scott’s second mixtape following his signing with T.I.’s Grand Hustle, was an improvement over 2013’s Owl Pharaoh.

The critically acclaimed mixtape included collaborations with Metro and Thugger in addition to appearances by Big Sean, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Peewee Longway, and British rock group The 1975.

Many beloved songs were born out of it, such as “Mamacita,” “Skyfall,” and “Drugs You Should Try It.”

This is the one positive announcement from Travis Scott in an otherwise turbulent summer that saw him run afoul of the law both domestically in the United States and abroad in Paris.

The 33-year-old was seen fighting with police officers in bodycam footage after they discovered him trying to take items from a yacht in the wee hours of the morning. He was detained in Miami in June on charges of trespassing and disorderly drunkenness.

Later, earlier this month, he got into a brawl with his bodyguard in the lobby of an exclusive hotel, which led to his detention in Paris.

One of the hotel’s security officers is said to have been attacked during the altercation while attempting to break up the fight.

“I can confirm that on August 9, 2024, police officers were called to the George V hotel and arrested the rapper Travis Scott for assaulting a security guard,” a statement from French prosecutors read.

“The rapper and his bodyguard were separated by the security guard who stepped in.” The case has been forwarded to the 1st district of the judicial police by the Paris public prosecutor’s office.

Later on, it was established that Scott was allowed to depart the country and would not be prosecuted for the event.
