128 commercial motorcycles have been seized by the ALagos task force for operating unlawfully in various parts of the state.

Adetayo Akerele, the task force chairman, revealed this in a statement on Sunday.

According to Mr. Akerele, the motorcycles were seized in Sabo Ikorodu, Berger, and Ikotun as part of the state’s enforcement of the prohibition on commercial motorcycle operations in certain regions.

Mr. Akerele emphasized that riders and passengers who are caught breaking the restriction will face legal action, restating the task force’s uncompromising position on unlawful commercial motorcycle operations.

“Okada passengers are just as guilty as the riders.” They will be held accountable along the riders if they are caught. The Lagos State Taskforce is still dedicated to upholding the law and maintaining the safety and usability of Lagos’ roadways.

“These efforts are in place to protect the lives and property of all residents of the state, so residents are encouraged to follow the regulations,” he said

.He claims that the State Government would receive all 128 of the motorcycles that were seized from all of the sites via the legal system.
